This box is a journey map, a quest through history. The objects within fit together to form a narrative but for me, each object has its own story as well. The items are all those that I have collected or inherited over the years and each holds memory or dreams within it. Momentos such as these have a hold on our hearts; the experience attached to each item ensures that looking at it can bring back feelings long lost to the dust of time. An unexpected find in the attic results in a whole slew of narratives, or an artifact misplaced years ago can set feet wandering down paths that a moment ago were forgotten.
